Preparandome

In preparation for my departure to Honduras this week (el viernes ya!!!!), I have decided to spend the next few days readying my heart and mind for the journey and for the work I will be doing with AJS. Starting the morning of Palm Sunday, I have begun fasting through the morning hours and spending a significant amount of time upon waking up reflecting, praying, and reading the Bible and other motivating/encouraging written works. It is my hope that by Friday morning I will board the plane to Honduras with a clear, focused, and determined mind and spirit, ready to embark on a journey marked by peace instead of anxiety. If you feel so inclined, I welcome your suggestions on things to read or reflect on, particularly those related to justice, love, and peace. Or you could always share something yourself...
